The classes provided by Nourish Pilates or any guest teachers are for educational and entertainment purposes only, and are not to be interpreted as a recommendation for a specific treatment plan, or course of action. You acknowledge and confirm that you are in good mental and physical health and are unaware of any reason why you are unsuited to taking part in the classes and are unlikely to suffer illness or injury when taking part. Please ensure to reduce and avoid the risk of injury that you speak to your medical healthcare professional and have permission to exercise and follow the guidelines they provide BEFORE joining any of the classes.
Exercise is not without risks, and this or any other exercise programme may result in injury. They include but are not limited to: Risk of injury, aggravation of a pre-existing condition, or adverse effect of over-exertion such as muscle strain, abnormal blood pressure, fainting, disorders of heart beat, and very rare instances of heart attack. To reduce the risk of injury, before beginning this or any exercise programme, please consult a healthcare provider for appropriate exercise prescription and safety precautions. The exercise instruction and advice presented in the classes are in no way intended as a substitute for medical consultation. Nourish Pilates can accept no liability whatsoever in the event of injury, loss or damage that may arise from taking part in these classes.
As with all fitness and exercise programmes, when using this exercise video you need to use good judgement and your common sense when taking the class and seriously consider your level and ability and choose the appropriate level of the exercises and rest when you need to. If at any point during the class you begin to feel faint, dizzy or have any physical discomfort, you should stop immediately and seek medical advice. By performing any fitness exercises without supervision, you are performing them at your own risk. Nourish Pilates or any guest teachers will not be responsible or Liable for any injury or harm you sustain as a result of this fitness programme, DVD, online fitness video or information shared on our website. This includes emails, videos and text. I have read and understood the above and accept that neither myself or anyone on my behalf can hold Nourish Pilates or any guest teachers responsible for any loss, damage or injury how so ever caused.
GUIDELINES FOR EXERCISING AT HOME
As you are exercising at home, your health and safety requirements are of a high priority to me. Therefore, please read through and ensure you follow these guidelines so are safe whilst exercising and staying healthy and mobile.
Please ensure you feel well enough to exercise, are free of injury and illness and have no pre existing conditions that need to be further addressed by a qualified medical professional before joining the class.
Before each class please note it is the responsibility of the participant to ensure.....
There is sufficient space to perform the exercises safely and move freely without obstructions or obstacles, free from furniture, equipment and other hazards - a minimum of 4 square meters per person. Remember the area above (such as light fittings above your head) if standing.
Have access to a small towel or suitable cushion if you usually use one for your head or wrists and knees and ensure any equipment is safe and in a suitable condition for the activity being performed
You are wearing suitable clothing for Pilates and movement. Bare feet are recommended also.
The flooring you are exercising on is even and comfortable for you to do so with a mat placed on top.
All pets are securely out of the way and the surrounding floor space is entirely clear to remove and hazards that may increase the risks of slips, trips or falls.
There are no distractions throughout the duration of the session.
There is adequate ventilation, lighting heating and hydration.
