Hi, I'm Emma and welcome to NOURISH PILATES.
As a trained dancer with 15 years teaching experience from young children through to adults, teachers and professional performers, I first discovered Pilates 15 years ago and fell in love with the many benefits it has to offer.
After a wonderful career in dance and gaining the highest teaching qualification within the Imperial Society of Dancing, ill health resulted in a change of career and daily life for a number of years. Once sufficiently through my journey to recovery I slowly found my way back to movement and I am thrilled that my Pilates love affair was rekindled…which I hope to pass on to my clients with enthusiasm and joy.
I love the diversity that Pilates has to offer and that it can be suitable for everyone regardless of age, ability, illness or injury. My work is tailored to the individual whether you are a beginner or an athlete during 1-2-1 sessions, so you can progress safely and effectively to achieve your goals....whatever they may be! All of my classes follow the 6 principles of Pilates and are fun, flowing and effective. Providing a challenge where desired and are designed to ensure clients are left feeling balanced in both body and mind and with a feeling of achievement.
Over the forthcoming years I will continue to take workshops and qualify further to constantly improve and expand my understanding of this wonderful method and studio equipment training is high up on my wish list of qualifications!
I absolutely adore teaching Pilates and hope to meet you in class soon and spread the Pilates love a little further!
"Emma's knowledge and variety of lessons challenged me but also made working out so much fun and rewarding. Emma is a fantastic teacher, very patient, kind and explained and demonstrated exercises clearly. Teaching really is in her blood."
